Forescout Research, Vedere Labs 2023 Cybersecurity Predictions

I was asked to help edit some video footage for Forescout Research, Vedere Labs’s Annual Cybersecurity Predictions blog. In typical fashion, this straight-forward video editing task turned into full-blown motion graphics treatment (because I am a masochist perfectionist).

I took a lot of inspiration from editorial illustrations and Vox’s motion graphics treatment. I did not storyboard or plan, I simply pulled in the footage and started brainstorming potential visualizations. I am not 100% happy with many of the vignettes, but it was an extremely fun exercise. This was completed in 8 days from start-finish.
